We created custom fields to allow you to collect further information when receiving a donation. They can be different for each payment link and need to be configured separatley. Information that the donor entered will then be shown to you within your email confirmation and also the dashboard itself.
Just below the three options of donation type you will see the button for custom fields. You can then enter the text that the donor will see. By clicking on "required" means that there will need to be an input to proceed to the donation. If your custom field is optional, leave this unticked.
Click on the ➕ to see some options of what you can use them for. The charities that we work with in the UK use custom fields to collect the information needed for Gift Aid, get in touch if you would like us to set this up for you.
